This ‘one of a kind’ 1940's vintage linen press cupboard with two drawers has an industrial feel has been painted in Fossil Vintage chalk paint and has been finished with wire wool to give an individual look, with two coats of matt varnish for extra durability. The original wooden teak knobs have sanded back and varnished keeping its utilitarian look along with studding lined down both sides The drawers and cupboard has also been painted inside to give it a fresh clean feel in dark French grey eggshell paint (Little Greene Company colour).The history of this tallboy originates from the CC41 approved designs for utility furniture during and after WW2 when resource was scarce and furniture construction had to be efficient. This simple but multi functional piece would have been used as bedroom furniture or a linen cupboard.

This ‘vintage linen cupboard' would be befitting in any contemporary bathroom, landing, laundry room, giving plenty of storage, for fresh laundry.
